SPIRE Necro Metal and Necromantic Black Metal " SHADOWY STEPS INTO THE UNDERWORLD " Contemplating the darkness, the black horde consecrates a ritualistic sense that flows into the shadows through magical necromantic rites. Gazing upon the underworld and forging pacts with demons dwelling within the hidden subconscious, the dark cult begins; spirits of the dead and black philosophy ritualize the shadowy infernal essence. The black horde SPIRE embarks on its dark conviction, channeling the coldest art of black magic into shadowy compositions dedicated to the occult unconscious and the awakening of the dead world through this dark ritual. Having begun its dark musical journey, the black horde resumes activity by recording and independently releasing its debut demo: *SPIRE - Necros*. Comprising seven tracks that embody a dark ceremony, the music draws us into the pitch-black night of a dead universe. With cold, obscure, and mystical compositions, it describes the horde's dark initiation rite through verses recited during this somber ceremony. The debut material from the horde SPIRE transports us to a dark universe of the dead in their cold, natural state. SPIRE - Necros Consecrating this ritual: The beginning of a necromancy cult that embraces the darkness and coldness of the night—misanthropic and demonic—in adoration of the dark occult. All for : COUNT TORMENTOR { Necromancer } SPIRE—a horde of dark, profane intent—was created by me based on a singular concept of the occult arts : celebrating dark necromancy, consecrating dark magic, and forging pacts on the shadowy occult plane. Through dark rites, we are transported across the mysterious world of the dead, under dark demonic possession, contemplating the dark art and exalting the dark ritual with occult reverence. We commune with myths and legends from the unconscious, embarking on a dark journey into the black occult mysteries that exist between bodies and the abyssal infernal domains... Recited through a dark musical lament : BLACK METAL ... " I created the SPIRE horde with the aim of pursuing the true purpose of playing dark music—creating it through my own unique approach to learning within the realm of Black Metal." Over time, things change; the passage of time leads them along a natural evolutionary path in their lives, fostering mental and spiritual development within their own life cycle—from conscious existence until death. *SPIRE Necros* was recorded at my home ; I handled everything myself as part of my Black Metal activities between 2013 and 2014. The band was originally founded by me in 2008, establishing its initial concept. I envisioned creating music influenced by paganism and anti-Christianity, incorporating the practice of black magic and the natural essence of the dark universe. During this initial phase of my musical journey, I composed the first demo for SPIRE. I recall it dealt with pagan worship and witchcraft, but I ran into a snag : my material was stolen. Only one promotional flyer—which I had designed and distributed around my city—circulated within the scene; it featured a crossed-out cross and the phrases: "No memory, no life, no image, no Christ." This represented the struggle against Christianity—one of the true ideals of authentic Black Metal. With that established, SPIRE became active in my city. However, I had to deal with some personal issues; this is part of my life, and I couldn't afford to wait any longer. In the end, I never recovered the material, as it had been stolen ! After a few years—specifically between 2008 and 2013—I returned to my work and relaunched the SPIRE horde. Operating within a new context but maintaining the same goal of creating dark music, I revisited my original vision and wrote new lyrics between 2013 and 2014. I then initiated a dark cult of necromancy, celebrating the dark, obscure essence through black rituals, the mysteries of the occult, and infernal flames. I began my activities, and during the rehearsals leading up to studio recording, one particular track stood out to me. I decided to record it and create my first BLACK METAL work. Thus, I recorded the first rehearsal demo, titled *SPIRE - Necros*. A demo rehearsal recorded at my home in 2014—everything done by me. (Believe it or not, this material was just preparation for a rehearsal.) So, it was documented as SPIRE - Necros, recorded in 2014. As 2015 approached, and the material had turned out well, I decided to head to the studio; I was ready to play and record the first official demo for the horde SPIRE. I went to a friend's house where he had set up a small studio suitable for playing Black Metal. SPIRE entered the studio for the first time in 2015 using the same material from the rehearsal demo. There, SPIRE recorded its first official demo, titled *SPIRE - Necros || Unholy Black Metal*. Recorded in 2015, the entire project was my own work; I played the drums and handled the vocals, completing the material over the course of that year. Thus, *SPIRE - Necros || Unholy Black Metal* stands as the first official demo by the horde SPIRE, recorded in 2015. I gave him the demo to listen to, and he later sent me a letter containing an advertisement for a French promotional zine; they were running a campaign for metal bands to be featured on a compilation released by the zine. Upon receiving the invitation, I contacted the zine for more information and submitted one of my tracks—"NECROMANTIC DARKNESS," which appeared on my first demo. I then received the news that my band had been selected to be part of the compilation. The *BLASTED Zine Vol. 1* compilation—released by Blasted Zine in January 2016—brings together 17 bands from various countries with the aim of promoting the international metal scene. The horde SPIRE contributes the track "NECROMANTIC DARKNESS" to this release. The track is taken from their debut demo: SPIRE – Necros || Unholy Black Metal , released in 2015. I entered the studio to re-record material from the * Funereal Horde of Dark Enchantments * era. That same year, alongside the third album *The Cold Lament Of The Cursed Souls*, I re-recorded and released the EP *On The Atmosphere Of The Night The Principles Of Necromancy*. This release featured the project's earliest tracks, now officially recorded with a new mix that captured the material's extreme pace—delivering the furious speed of insane drumming and dark rhythms driven by guitars and bass, all underpinned by atmospheric keyboards played specifically for the project (with all effects by COUNT TORMENTOR). This cemented the material in a physical, extreme format, revisiting those early demos—obscure, cold, and direct—in the style of the most extreme Black Metal... SPIRE... Reviving dark, cold memories and reclaiming the essence of old-school Black Metal: while reviewing some material, I came across my first demo, *SPIRE - Necros* (recorded in 2014), alongside my second demo, *SPIRE - Necros II Unholy Black Metal* (recorded a year later, in 2015). The completion of this material marks the 5th anniversary of the SPIRE project—a period that also saw the recording of two other albums: *SPIRE - Black Eyes Of The Necromancer* (2017) and *SPIRE - Magic Spells Of Hell* (2018). With its original lineup, the band decided to revive the material in a new 2019 edition, celebrating five years of activity. The tracks have been reinforced with a new mix by COUNT TORMENTOR at Studio - 666, celebrating the dark principles of the SPIRE Necromantic Horde. In keeping with these same principles, the band has released a new EP titled *SPIRE – On the Atmosphere of the Night The Principles of Necromancy*, featuring the same dark lyrical composition. A dark, cold, and occult celebration—reciting black rituals, the Lord in ceremony, COUNT TORMENTOR. Ritualizing dark verses beneath cold, black blood and amidst burning flames, on a dark night, amidst infernal mysteries, venerating the dead.
